A faint silhouette of the fishing pier can be seen on the right of this beach scene as the morning sun has almost broken the horizon casting a soft yellow-white light on the bottom of the gray clouds as their reflection dots the wet beach.
About Ellen Meakin
Ellen Meakin grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and always had a special place in her heart for the beauty of the beach. She has vacationed at Amelia Island, Fernandina Beach, Florida for the past 25 years and planned "one day" to move here permanently. In 2012, her "one day" dream became a reality and she and her husband, Tim, moved to Fernandina Beach.
