Ellen Meakin grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and always had a special place in her heart for the beauty of the beach. She has vacationed at Amelia Island, Fernandina Beach, Florida for the past 25 years and planned "one day" to move here permanently. In 2012, her "one day" dream became a reality and she and her husband, Tim, moved to Fernandina Beach.
